Terms of Service

026ConnectHub is an online marketplace that lets members post and discover job listings, freelance services, equipment for hire, entertainment and event services, and business profiles, and provides AI-assisted tools for CVs, proposals, invoices and related documents. We provide the venue and tools; we are not a party to the agreements members make with each other.

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or the law.

• You may only post listings that are lawful, accurate and yours to post.
• Prohibited: fraudulent offers, jobs that charge applicants fees, counterfeit goods, misleading pricing, harassment, and any illegal activity.
• We may remove any listing or content at our discretion, including content reported by other members.
• Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive or unrelated to a real interaction.

Some listings are aggregated from public third-party sources (for example Remotive, JobWeb Kenya, MyJobMag and OpenStreetMap) and are clearly labelled with their source. These listings link back to the original site, where the transaction or application actually takes place. We don't control third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content or decisions. OpenStreetMap data is used under the ODbL licence.

• Premium subscriptions are billed in Kenya Shillings via M-Pesa (Safaricom Daraja). Prices are shown before you pay.
• Subscriptions run for the stated period (typically 30 days) and do not auto-renew without a new payment.
• Payments between members (for jobs, hires, bookings) are made directly between those members. We are not the merchant for member-to-member deals and do not hold funds in escrow.
• If a Premium payment is charged but not activated, contact us and we will resolve or refund it.

AI-generated content (CVs, cover letters, proposals, invoices, plans) is produced by automated systems and provided as a starting point. Review it before use — you are responsible for what you send, sign or submit. AI outputs are not legal, financial or professional advice.

The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for losses arising from member-to-member transactions, listing content, third-party sites, or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
