Director, Research, Electoral Boundaries and Risk Management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and ensure the implementation of research, electoral boundaries and risk management strategies in line with the Commission's strategy. Develop accountability structures, supervise periodic projects and reporting, and monitor performance indicators for the research and strategy departments. Oversee the implementation of research activities, including surveys, opinion polling and the testing of concepts in electoral and operational areas. Advise the Commission on best practices in electoral programming and reforms. Oversee research on electoral matters, including representation, participation, education methodology, voter registration, gender and diversity concerns, and advise on sustainable approaches. Oversee the timely development and review of the Commission's strategy documents, work plans and reports. Ensure that the Directorate is adequately resourced with professional and competent personnel. Oversee the development and implementation of effective policies, procedures, systems and processes for research, strategy, information management, library resource management, archiving and disposal. Advise the Commission on institutional development, the sustainability of the Commission's programmes and their long-term impact. Oversee electoral boundaries projects and activities, mapping information and the maintenance of the geodatabase. Oversee the development and implementation of risk management and compliance work
